Precision Gymnastics is proud to offer one of the largest gymnastics facilities of its kind in Southern California - over 20,000 square feet of high quality USA Gymnastics certified equipment. Precision offers competitive gymnastics classes for all age groups. Our primary goal is to provide a safe, challenging program that rewards our students with high degrees of strength, coordination, and self-confidence. Precision Gymnastics is recognized by USAG as a National Team Training Center.
Our competitive gymnasts travel to many Local, State, and Regional, and National meets throughout the year. The goal of the competitive team is to provide all gymnasts with an opportunity to enjoy and be successful in competitive gymnastics. There are a variety of groups within each competitive level to allow for diversity of ages and skill levels.
The Competitive Team program is structured to provide progressively more intensive training as the gymnast develops skills and physical abilities. This is measured and monitored by our coaching staff and based on competitive meet performances by the gymnast.
Practices are scheduled during the week and, in some cases, on Saturday. Monthly fees for the team members vary by competitive level. Specific training schedules and fees are available by contacting the gym by phone. Our competitive programs begin with highly experienced CPR, First Aid and USA Safety Certified instructors.
Our club is open to all ages and abilities. Each athlete's experience will be a fun and safe one. The coaching philosophy is to assist all gymnasts in reaching their fullest potential through the best possible instruction in a professional and positive environment of mutual respect.
All team members must become members of the IVGA Booster Club and participation is by try-out only. Precision strives to build a gymnastics program that introduces children to the discipline of gymnastics and develop strength, flexibility, agility and coordination.
Xcel
This competitive program is by invitation only. Xcel athletes train 6 hours weekly with a goal of competition with other Xcel athletes in our region.
This is what USAG says is the Xcel program:
"The Xcel Program is designed to offer a broad-based, affordable competitive experience outside the traditional Jr. Olympic Program to attract and retain a diverse group of athletes."
Girls' Compulsory Team (Levels 2-5)
Competes on a Sectional, State, and Regional level. Our competitive team trains approximately 4 days per week (level dependent) for a total of about 9 to 16 hours per week. All team members must become members of the IVGA Booster Club and participation is by try-out only. The Level 2-5 Teams compete in the USA Gymnastics program on all four events. Level 2-5 Team members compete in a number of meets during the year, and can qualify for local sectional and state Level 2-5 championships.
Girls' Optional Team (Levels 6-Elite)

T.O.P.
TOP stands for Talent Opportunity Program. It is for female gymnasts between the ages 7 to 10 years old. At the national level, it has been decided that a strong gymnast has to be able to master a certain set of conditioning and flexibility skills. Gymnasts work on building these areas and then are tested each year on their progression. During the summer more than 3,000 gymnasts are evaluated in 10 different areas based on their strength and flexibility. Of those 3,000 only 300 gymnasts qualify to participate in the National TOP testing. Finally, the top 60 gymnasts will qualify and be placed on the National TOP Team.
